A marketplace that connects travelers going opposite directions. Pre-fund your wallet with the fee, post real listings, swap at the real exchange rate — no banks, no kiosk markup, no nonsense.
Every day, millions of travelers land in a foreign country holding the wrong currency. The options all stink:
CashCross's solution: For every traveler leaving Tokyo for London with yen, there's another leaving London for Tokyo with pounds. Load your wallet, post your trip, and we find your match. The swap happens at the real exchange rate — face to face, at the airport.
Before you can post a swap, load your CashCross wallet via Stripe (card, Alipay, or WeChat Pay). The amount you load determines your max swap: if you load $5 and our fee is 0.5%, you can post up to $1,000. The fee goes on hold when you post — no fake listings, no spam.
Create a listing: “I have EUR 2,000, flying Frankfurt to Bangkok on Nov 13, need THB.” The 0.5% fee is automatically held from your wallet. You can’t exceed your wallet balance ÷ 0.5%, so every listing is backed by real intent.
CashCross scans all active listings and finds a complementary pair: same route, opposite direction, compatible amounts and timing. Both parties get notified. You lock the rate.
Meet at the airport gate, lounge, or arrival hall. Hand over your currency in person. Both confirm the swap in the app — the held fee is deducted from your wallet. Done. Rate each other to build trust for future swaps.
CashCross charges a flat 0.5% fee per completed swap, deducted from your pre-loaded wallet. Compare that to airport kiosks (6-12%) or bank tellers (3-5%). On a $1,000 swap, you pay $2.50. A bank would charge you $30-70 for the same thing. The fee is held when you post and only charged when the swap completes.
The #1 concern with P2P currency exchange is trust. CashCross addresses it in layers:
Ready to try it? Here's what to do:
Your 0.5% fee is held when you post a trip and deducted when the swap completes. Anything not held is available for future posts.
